Integration and Meditation Dhyanas

This week we are reading about Meditative States - psychological integration and the dhyanas. Some people find the descriptions of the dhyanas helpful (relatable) and others do not. If the descriptions are not helpful - not to worry. As you experience these states (in or out of meditation) you may describe them yourselves, in our own ways.

I'd like for us to focus on psychological integration. One way of doing this is to draw a personal mandala. Within the mandala will be aspects of our lives including: family, work, friendship, hobbies, spiritual life etc. Being in the middle of your mandala and place what is of most importance (what you spend the most time/energy/thought on) to you there and then place other aspects of your life around the center.

You may choose to write about these different aspects and how you decided to put what you did in the center (or not).

Also, let's discuss the first question about integration. Also, please consider how you can become (even) more integrated.

Let me know if you have questions ;)

Love,

Saddhamala
